A top quality Cleoniceras Ammonite Fossil Pair. Sliced and highly polished to perfectly display the amazing chambers inside. An especially collectable example of this fossil. An amazing artifact and a example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases approximately at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618. The distance of the planets from the Sun average the Phi Ratio. This number is also related to Pi as well as the Fibonacci Sequence. Galena: PbS
Galena is the primary ore mineral of lead. Worked for its lead content as early as 3000 BC, it is found in ore veins with sphalerite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, tennantite-tetrahedrite, etc. and in skarns, as well as in sedimentary rocks where it may replace carbonate beds or be deposited in pore spaces.

An Orpiment Snow Calcite Mineral Specimen formation. Orange in colour with long terminated crystals jutting out.Great contrast with a Snow White Calcite Crystal in the center. In days of yore this mineral was used for colour pigment and knocking off a few Kings and Queens. This specimen is from very old stock. It is toxic.
