It was an exercise to see how thin a saw could cut the Jade. 2mm down to next to nothing in thickness 0.8mm. This material will polish to a stunning black luster. Nephrite Jade is the toughest of all naturally occurring materials. Nephrite Jade has been used from ancient times as jewellery, tools and weapons.
