Zircons reputation has suffered of late due to the introduction of a diamond simulant. So for the record, zircon is not the same material as the artificial gem material Cubic Zirconia (or CZ). Zircon can make a very attractive and affordable gemstone. Zircon is the December Birthstone.

I have taken photos indoors, outside on an overcast day and also under long wave ultraviolet light inside a lit shop. We have stocked this incredible Fluorite since we first started dealing minerals many moons ago. We stock a range of pieces from different pockets at the mine. A stunning specimen of Willemite Franklinite Calcite showing off the brightest fluorescence of all natural minerals Willemite. This rare special specimen is short and long wave fluorescent. The dark grey metal shown in the natural light photos is Zinc ore Franklinite. The white mineral is Mangano Calcite which in this case shows BIP Brief Intense Phosphorescence. Pics taken with shortwave, longwave, and sunlight. Very cool stuff and this is one of my very favorite rocks. To view this spectacular specimen you will need a UVC Shortwave Lamp and UVA Longwave Lamp. Make sure you wear safety glasses. This specimen shows Willemite Phosphorescence, which is when you take your UVC short wave away it will phosphoresce for a few secondss. Willemite Franklinite Calcite is also known as the Christmas Tree Rock for the colours Green and Red. This is a quality collectable specimen with wow factor.

An Atalantisite Serpentine Stichtite Rock to add to your collection or for jewel. We reckon this beautiful Aussie stone is under appreciated! It features an unusual combination of bright green and deep purple colouring throughout. This rock has a good amount of deep purple stichtite to green serpentine.
