AMMONITE PAIR
An awesome Large Cleoniceras Ammonite Pair. Sliced and polished to perfectly display the amazing chambers inside. The pics show some well formed calcification, crystalised pockets and dendritic formation when the sun or a torch is shone through. There is a reasonable show of irredecnce on the outside faces, hmm pretty cool specimens of high quality. This is a natural prehistoric fossil specimen, they never cease to amaze me. Opalised Ammonite Pair, beautifully polished. Featuring great markings and great opalisation on the outside. Parts of the fossil have turned to calcite and the rest of the cavities remain unfilled. This is a large, natural fossil specimen. An amazing artifact and a natural example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618. The distance of the planets from the Sun average the Phi Ratio. This number is also related to Pi and the Fibonacci Sequence. This Phi Ratio is used by nearly all religions and occults and is a big part of Sacred Geometry. This is the best quality Ammonite Pairs we have ever had available for sale.

Black Petrified Wood Slice, this material is hard to come by and often used to make jewelery. Once polished this specimen will be a stand out. This is a complete slice from a good sized tree limb including an interesting bark edge.
How wood turns into Petrified wood which is a fossil. It forms when plant material is buried by sediment and protected from decay by oxygen and organisms. Then groundwater rich in dissolved solids flows through the sediment replacing the original plant material with silica, calcite, pyrite or another inorganic material such as opal.Location:
